Picture of my face.

Hi. I'm Brandon Sike.

I'm an astronomy & astrophysics PhD candidate at the University of Michigan, and a NSF graduate research fellow.

I work with Prof. Mateusz Ruszkowski on computational astrophysics. I study cosmic ray feedback in galaxies, including how cosmic rays can drive galactic outflows and affect star formation.

Projects

Density projections from simulations.

Tallbox Simulations with CRISP

High-resolution tallbox simulations of galaxies with cosmic ray feedback using the CRISP feedback and nonequilibrium thermochemistry model.
